WHAT'S COOKING IN YOUR KITCHEN? 1/5

Thought I would try out some new recipes this week!!  I found a few you might enjoy. Adjust recipe any way you like!!! Still have free veggies and rice. The meat prices always goes up and down except for the turkey meat.  I get that at Aldi for $1.69 lb. 


SUNDAY:  BBQ Chicken Pieces w/green beans and salad

MONDAY: Nacho Pie w/Salad (we are using ground turkey instead of chicken)

TUESDAY: Ground Turkey Meatloaf w/Rice, Cheesy Broccoli (I will post this recipe and get a pic for you after I make it!)

**We made homemade waffles then froze them to save more money!!!**

This week we will be out of town a few days with my hubby's work.  But I will go ahead a post some meals for you!!  Our meatloaf turned out sooo yummy. I will post the recipe next week, but I forgot to take a picture. We again have free rice, vegetables and cookies!! I got the French bread at Buy for less with .50 off green tag coupon!

 My canned vegetables, rice and noodles were FREE.  I estimated fresh veggies and pork since we haven't gone to B4less yet.  It will be FREE for us since we have a $10 gift card to use for the Coupon Class we attended last week!

#I have been getting the rice crackers (GF and SF) at Homeland for $.50 each.  So I will be have cheese and crackers with my soup.

+I make my dumplings with Bella GF baking mix.

Arama's are  busy making pancakes!!

 I got free salad and $1 Cheese stocked up. We also had beans leftover from last week and using it for a dinner this week!!  Free Green Beans and Free Rice. It brought my cost down this week!!!

We will be posting the Spinach Vegetarian Pasta recipe this week.  And I am planning to post also the Chicken Spicy Corn Enchiladas.

$4.50 (we have some frozen) FREE for us.

TUESDAY: Turkey Burgers, Saute Green Beans with Onions, Sweet Potato Fries (store bought not GF or SF) But Sprouts is having a great sale $.48 lb!!

WEDNESDAY: Leftovers-we have tons since we both got sick last week
FREE-price already included 

THURSDAY: Chicken Spicy Corn Enchiladas

*Everything is cooked gluten free and soy free.  I use cornstarch to replace flour and use regular butter instead of margarine.

+I used GF and SF noodles. 

#I cut these in triangles and freeze them on a cookie sheet and then put them in bags.  My hubby eats on them for a couple of weeks!!

It was our anniversary yesterday and I totally forgot to post the menu plan for the week.  We were watching the Broncos game!! Whoo hoo. We had so much left overs last week we ended up not cooking half the items are the list. So there may be a few repeats! So this is our plan for the week:

MONDAY: Turkey Burgers with green beans-no bun

MENU PLAN FOR THE WEEK OF 11/10 TO 11/16


Our menu plan is a little behind since several friends have brought us meals.  So we are having our Pot Roast on Sunday.  I will add a meal in for everyone in case you need one!! 

SUNDAY:  Crockpot Chunky Chicken soup w/cornbread (GF and soyfree)

MONDAY:  Black bean Taco Salad

TUESDAY:  Taco Mashed Potato Casserole

WEDNESDAY: BBQ ribs w/green beans

THURSDAY:  Vegetarian Spaghetti w/salad

FRIDAY:  Chicken Chef Salad (so yummy!)

SATURDAY: Sweet and Sour Stir fry Veggies w/brown rice

TIP:  I am using items that I got on sale.  Like the Black Beans, Chicken and green beans.  I try to plan my meals around what I buy on sale!! This will save you lots on your food budget!!!

So this week again my hubby is cooking!!  He did a way awesome job last week.  We had a few really nice friends who brought us meals after my surgery!!  Wowser, the food was great!!  So we didn't really stick to the schedule.  I think this week we will. 

 Here's what I have planned for this week:

SUNDAY: Chicken grilled with green beans and brown rice
$1.00 (the rest was Free)

MONDAY:  Vegetarian pizza on corn tortillas, salad

TUESDAY: Ham and Mashpotato Casserole, green beans

TIP: If we have leftovers we have been eating them for lunch instead.

they were only $3 at Homeland. Was in the freezer. and the Mac n Cheese and green beans were free!! 

Total Meals for the Week: $12.39!!

TIP:  You can write the total cost of an item with a black marker on the product so you can add  up the total cost for each meal!!!
