SIGN UP FOR YOUR DEALS

Have you signed up for all the places that give the deals you want? 

We talk a lot here about Staples and OfficeMax rewards, but you have to sign up for their card to get most of them. An added benefit of signing up at these two stores is the e-mail coupons they send out. Some of the best deals have come from these e-mailed offers.

Some other stores will do similar things from time to time. It's not just the office supply stores. Home Depot is another store that gives out extra rewards periodically. For instance, via my pro paint account, I just got a $25 off $100 purchase coupon. Good for one use only and expires at the end of the month. Home Depot has several programs for discounts. Check out which one applies to you.

Online markets, such as Amazon.com and eBay also reward frequent shoppers. 

Keep your eyes open for savings. They are out there. Sometimes all it takes is filling out a short form. You can always unsubscribe later or send everything to your spam folder if you're worried about getting too much junk mail.
