Staples Money Maker

Got all this for $5.00. And with the rebate for the paper of $6.99, this ends up being a money maker.

Being a Staples Rewards member, I received a special $10 off $25 coupon. I had $16.00 of Rewards to spend from previous purchases. I also got in my e-mail a coupon for Rewards members only for the paper rebate. 

So, after all is said and done, we get a nice bonus for continuing to shop Staples and using their rewards card. Some people don't like the tracking or junk e-mail, but I have a spam filter and most of the e-mails I get from Staples.com are more sales and more rewards.

If you are going to be buying these items anyways, use the rewards a store offers. There ARE real savings involved. 

True, TANSTAAFL*... But, using the rewards systems from various stores is worth doing, imho, YMMV**
