TIP OF THE WEEK: E-COUPONS!!

Extreme Couponing | How to Use eCoupons
Today I wanted to cover How to use eCoupons. I know that most of you use Printable Coupons and Newspaper Insert Coupons but eCoupons can also be a great way to save money on products that you might not have Coupons for.

Here are a few tips on getting started:

Step 1 – Sign up for eCoupons. I like Cellfire in my area but if you have a Kroger make sure you Sign Up on the Kroger Website as well! Also, most stores have eCoupons on their websites if they offer a Store Loyalty Card.

So the First Step is to Register your Store Loyalty Card.

Step 2 – Clip the Coupons. This is really easy, you want to start by logging in to cellfire or your store website and then “Clip” the coupons to add them to your card. You may even want to write down the coupons you clipped so you can remember what is loaded on your card when you get to the store.

Step 3 – Scan your Card or Enter Your Information at Checkout. My store doesn’t have a loyalty card, but they do take your phone number and pin at checkout and the coupons that you have on your card apply automatically to your order. If you have a Store Loyalty Card you can hand that to the cashier at checkout to have it scanned.

A Few things to keep in mind:
Digital Coupons do not double, so if you have a store that doubles it’s better to use a paper coupon or newspaper coupon on items that will double.

You can not stack Digital Coupons, these are Manufacturer Coupons, not Store Coupons (In most cases) so you can’t combine them with Printable or Newspaper Manufacturer Coupons.

If you use Digital Coupons I would love to know your thoughts! I find there are frequently different coupons available than there are to print so it’s a nice way to have additional coupon options on items you need.

Thank you to Passion for Savings for the tip and the pictures!

I am starting this program soon. I will keep you posted on how this works. Marnie Ann
