If you're needing these basics anyways, NOW is the best time to get them. You pay now (using whatever rewards or cash back already earned, if any), and in a few weeks you get the price you paid (less tax) back, either in Staples Rewards (coupons sent in e-mail for $ off) or Staples Easy Rebates (check, PayPal, Visa gift card options on most rebates). That way, you keep those rewards rolling over to ease your office supply budget. Since we found this method, our budget has shrunk dramatically. And, from time to time, we'll use those rewards on something else besides basic office supplies. I found a Vivitar digital video camera on clearance a while back and got it, the memory card, and batteries for no out of pocket. Plus, the batts were on their 100% rewards special that week. It works! Do it!
