- Drink water instead of soda or tea. It saves a ton of money that way.
- Check for coupons in the paper on Sunday. There are often coupons in there for restaurants. Also check on Coupon Closet HERE for all the restaurant deals.
- Ask your local restaurants for the “Kids eat FREE night”. Several of them offer that or may be $.99 kids meal night. If you find about about any, let me know and I can set up a page to put all the information for you.
- Check out daily deal sites for nice restaurant deals. Remember though… only buy those if you will actually save money by going to them.
- Sign up for the restaurant’s fan club. For example, I love Jersey Mikes so I signed up for their e-mail club. I get coupons all the time and I even got a free sandwich on my Birthday.
- Share a plate. Most of the time, one entree is huge. Share it with your kids or your husband and you have just saved 50% off. Then you can splurge and get dessert since you just saved money.
- Skip the kids meals and have them share a plate. It is normally a better deal for my kids to share a regular meal then for each of them to have a kids meal.
Some of you just don’t go out to eat anymore. I personally still love
to go out to eat on occasion, but I have loved these ideas on how to
save. I hope they have helped you figure out how to get that restaurant
bill down.
