Aldi is a great place to shop to save big money each week. Even though they don’t accept coupons, their regular prices are many times lower than you could get at other grocery stores EVEN with using coupons!
Many of the brands at Aldi are the exact same brands that you see in the regular grocery stores (you’ll recognize some of the packaging types), they are just relabeled to be exclusively for Aldi and typically sell for MUCH less.
Here are a few things to know that might be helpful when shopping at Aldi:Here are the best deals at Aldi for the week of 7/25/12 – 7/31/12:
Bring a quarter with you. You have to pay a quarter to get a shopping cart, but you get that quarter back when you return the cart (GENIUS idea by Aldi!)
Bring cash or a debit card. Aldi only accepts cash, debit cards, or Food Stamps, so be sure you’re prepared with a form of payment that they accept!
Bring your own bags. Unless you want to put everything in your car individually, then be sure to bring your own bags! They do sell some at the front of the store (5¢ for small bags, 10¢ for larger) in case you forget yours and still want a bag.
