HOMEMELAND TIPS OF THE DAY!!

 
Just a few tips to help you while you are shopping at Homeland and you are new to couponing.

1. All coupons up to $1 (including $1 will double)

2. Only one like coupon will double the second like will not double.

For example:

If you have two coupons to buy Ragu Sauce for $.50/1 and they look exactly alike The first coupon will double to $1 and the second coupon will not. Will only be $.50. You can shop several times and still get those great deals or you can have a shopping buddy to  help. (my hubby does this alot for me)

3.  Some coupons are starting to print that you can use only 4 like coupons per purchase.  You can use up to four of the same coupons anywhere any store.  At Homeland only one of the 4 coupons will double.

COUPON MACHINE

Homeland now has a coupon machine that will print coupons for you!!  Usually they are the same coupons you can find at Coupons.com. But they do print out some in store coupons!! Yesterday I got Store coupons for butter, bread and cheese!!  It is in the front of the store when you first come in.  Not all stores have the coupon machine right now.  Britton and May does have one. Sometimes you can get a coupon for $5 off $80 (after coupons) and you have to use it that day.  If you don't use the coupon I look for a family with a huge cart of food and offer it to them. (I have had several smiling faces)

DISCOUNTS AT THE STORE

Homeland has lots of discounted items at the store.  There are several tags to look for.  

Price Cut tags-Sales that last up to a YEAR!! It will have the date ending printed on the tag.

50% off tags. These tags are awesome.  They cut the price in half and you can stack a coupon with this and get some way awesome deals.

Lots of $1 items throughout the store!!

MEAT SPECIALS

Homeland will usually have a spot for discounted meat up to 50% off.  Usually you will find it in the meat section at the end of the refrigerated cases.  Sometimes they are marked as "Manager's Special" on the package with the regular meat.  I really pay attention to this when I walk down the isle.

VEGETABLE DISCOUNTS

In the Produce section if you look for the Orange tags those are the ones discounted.  The store on NWY and McCauther is the only store that has a rack with discounted prices that I know of.  Wish Britton and May had one-but I think they sell out pretty good.

EXTRA SAVINGS FLYER

This flyer comes out monthly and you can usually find it by the weekly flyers. It is also located with the  coupon machine and can find them hanging on racks around the store.  This flyer is awesome. It has Store coupons you can stack with Manufacturer coupons.  It also lets you know which deals will be on sale for a whole month!!
