STAPLES SNEAK PEEK 8/12 - 8/18

What's in it this week?

Many of the printers from last week are continuing on sale.

Back2School deals are still happening. Items from 10¢ (with $5 minimum purchase), 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, up to $6 that are really good deals for needed and useable stuff. Remember, you don't have to be a student to get these deals. So, stock up for your home office, too.

Lots of student/teacher/university versions of software on sale with this ad.

For this, you need to have a student, university, or school faculty ID to get these. It's not a Staples limitation, it's from the software companies. They make available versions of their regular software at budget prices. The licenses are meant for educational facilities and their students only. If you cannot prove to the manufacturer that this is for educational use, the sale usually won't happen in the first place, and it definitely won't register with the product key when installing. So don't buy it for a student and try to install it in an office or home office. Not only is that cheating to try that, but it also simply won't work. You will be out the purchase price as well since open software is not returnable. Again, the software company's rules, not ours or Staples.

Alright, with that disclaimer and warning out of the way, let's look at some of the deals:

Microsoft Office University $84.99 includes 2010 versions of: Word, Excel®, PowerPoint®, OneNote®, Outlook®, Publisher and Access®

Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 4 Student and Teacher Edition $59.99

Adobe® Photoshop® Extended CS6 Student and Teacher Edition $229.99

WordPerfect® Office X5 Home & Student $69.99

There are other titles of popular software on sale this also that are available for anyone to buy or use. Some of those titles:

Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 10 is only $74.99 (reg $99.99)

QuickBooks® Enhanced Payroll for up to 3 Employees 2012 FREE (after $30 instant savings and $200 mail in rebate)

Dragon Home 11 $39.99 (reg $99.99) Software for interacting with a PC using speech instead of a keyboard and mouse

Enjoy your Staples shopping!
