Keep rolling over those rebates and rewards.
We had to buy supplies for next month, so Uncle Bob the Bear got all this for $65.34:
The ink was the biggest part of this purchase at $31.39. The envelopes were a special in-store sale, 125 100% recycled paper for $5.00 (reg $13.49).
Rebates earned: $28.95
Rewards earned: $6.24
Rolling over, we'll get back: $35.19 to use on our next round of purchases. we like to keep the rebates and rewards applying to continued purchases of office supplies from Staples. So, even tho we spent 65 bucks out of pocket this trip, we'll use these rewards and rebates of 35 dollars next time for substantial savings. I have to buy this stuff anyways, might as well be frugal about it and gain long term benefits.
